Signature Catering is run by Eagle Cry’s very own Penny. After many years of her home baking for friends, family and colleagues and the positive feedback from this Pen decided to take her passion to a new, more professional, level. This journey began in 2008 and Penny now delivers stunning cakes and other confectionery items to some pretty important people and brides in KZN.

Penny tells us a little bit about how she feels about her love for baking: “Blessed with a gift and love for food from a young age , I decided to follow my dreams and passion with the talent God had given me start my career in the food and hospitality industry! From the start of baking muffins for our local home industry to being interviewed on Top Billing for my sweet creations and cake designs, His Provision exceeded all my expectations!”

With all this love Penny loves the challenge of creating the perfect cake for weddings found this to be a fantastic challenge of her skills, as a perfectionist she feels that the cakes must look a million dollars. The business has grown by word of mouth and a lot of hard work. As Eagle’s Cry’s headchef she cannot wait for her creations to add to the perfection of a brides very special day!
