Eagle’s Cry Wedding & Function venue is situated just outside of Tongaat very near to central Ballito and offers the most beautiful views from the stunning venue deck. As mentioned our beautiful venue is situated only 10 minutes away from our new King Shaka Airport and 12 km’s from some of the dolphin coasts finest beaches we are ideally situated for both local and international clients.
Offering our clients not only luxury accommodation with breathtaking African sunsets, but the finest cuisine made by our qualified Gourmet Pastry Chef Penny who both makes the most amazing wedding cakes as She loves cake but who is also our headchef. Eagles cry wedding and conference venue opened in August 2013.We are an owner run venue. Don and June Mcloughlin own the property and venue. June is the loving, kind and friendly face you will meet at your site visits, You are often greeted with a warm hug and leave the property feeling more like family friends then clients ;-).
Don can be found opening the gate for you and we can best describe him as a silent partner who does all the hard work behind the scenes.
Our friendly dogs,”Thombie and Tess” who live on the property will also be sure to welcome you with a friendly greeting, and hoping to accompany you down to the ceremony site at the waters edge so they can have a dip in the water.
Penny Stratford, who is the daughter of Don and June recently got married at our beautiful wedding venue on the 8th February 2020 is the head chef at the wedding venue. We have a friendly, well trained group of staff who are involved in the kitchen and around the venue on the day of a wedding.
Our waiters are all well trained and dressed neatly and offer a friendly and efficient service. We have a wonderful reputation when it comes to our amazing team at Eagles cry.
Our gorgeous venue offers not only the most beautiful views and endless photo opportunities for your special day but excellent service and gourmet food. We have a full functioning kitchen with an in house chef and confectionist, we have a fully licensed bar with well trained barman and a list of upmarket and reliable suppliers to assist you with your wedding day!
